        I had an older pair of dress shoes that were disfigured from never using shoe trees. Also cleared up the shrunk toe wrinkles from being worn on long days and shrinking when drying. Well worth [$]!!

          I just bought a $350.00 pair of the Italian Beason wingtip dress shoe in size 13M. I also purchased a set of cedar shoe trees, size XL. According to the sizing chart, the XL is for a 12W-14N. I inserted the shoe trees into each shoe and they feel very snug. I am just concerned that they may stretch my shoe enough to where they don't fit as perfect as they already do and possibly waste my money. Any suggestions?, is this normal?, I've never owned or used shoe trees.

            The D width is equivalent to an Medium width. The size of the Shoe Trees are based on your shoe size.

            S = 6W to 8M
            M = 8W to 10M
            L = 10W to 12M
            XL = 12W to 14M

            The width of the shoe "D" does not determine the size of the shoe tree, large or small. Need the actual size of the shoe to determine the tree size.

                I recently purchased the Melton shoe in size D. With regard to this cedar shoe tree, which size would apply? Medium or large?

                  The D width is equivalent to an Medium width. The size of the Shoe Trees are based on your shoe size.

                  S = 6W to 8M
                  M = 8W to 10M
                  L = 10W to 12M
                  XL = 12W to 14M
                  XXL = 13W to 15M

                  The width of the shoe "D" does not determine the size of the shoe tree, large or small. Need the actual size of the shoe to determine the tree size.
