    Purchased for a wedding and

    Purchased for a wedding and they were extremely comfortable! However, in putting them on before the wedding they did get scuffed on the toe very easily which was frustrating and made the toe have a distracting scratch.

    The Sayer Cap Toe is a great looking shoe that meets at the corner of style and sensibility. Both my husband and son wore the shoe for my son's wedding. My son, with an average width foot, had his shoe stretched by our cobbler before wearing as it was tight out of the box. The leather scratches quite easily.

    I love the look of the shoe. However the leather is very stiff and the shoe is uncomfortable to wear. I don’t know if it is just this pair or generally an issue with this style. I would like to exchange them is possible.

    Was not impressed with appearance when I took them out of the box, and was even less happy when I tried them on. Felt narrow and uncomfortable. Normally love J&M shoes, so I returned to exchange for another style.
