Inefficient customer support and poor quality control.

Ordered two cedar shoe racks which required minor assembly being held together by small wooden pegs. Small package of wooden pegs missing for one of the racks, called to have the missing package sent. This required them to send me a shipping label which the agent implied should have already been included with the order and then to send the whole unit back for a replacement with no guarantee the replacement unit would include the needed pegs. Poor product quality control and inefficient, laborious replacement process, Rather than send me a small package of wooden pegs, the company's policy was to use the more expensive procedure of exchanging the entire unit, I guess good help is hard to find. Went to the hardware store and had the pegs that afternoon for a small cost.

Side panels too short

Easy to assemble but after assembling I discovered that the height space to put your shoes in is very short. I had to crush the top portion of all my shoes down to get them to squeeze into the space. Taller side panels would fix this.

Useless

Do not waste your time and money. Unless you use screws or glue rack is loose and comes apart. Plus picture is very deceiving. You would have to purchase 3 racks to match the picture. That would be $135. Very disappointing from Johnston & Murphy

clean looking, easy to assemble

Have purchased multiple for different homes. The height may be little narrow for mens sporting-type shoes. Easy to assemble and looks better than wire shelving but is not too clunky. Only complaint it took like nine months to receive.

If you can assemble without breaking a peg or resulting in lopsided rack, I’m sure this is a great product. Wooden pegs are prone to breaking upon assembly or turning the planks. Steer clear & purchase a more robust product.

one side board arrived split into two pieces, very flimsy. nice looking, but not very functional. needs to be a little more durable.
